Frequently asked questions

What ingredients are in AG1 and what are the benefits?

AG1 is a daily greens formula with more than 70 ingredients spanning vitamins, minerals, plant extracts, mushrooms, fibre and five clinically studied bacterial strains.

Its core benefits centre on energy, immunity, digestion and cognitive function. B vitamins and magnesium contribute to normal energy metabolism, while vitamin C, zinc and selenium support normal immune function. Calcium supports the normal function of digestive enzymes, and nutrients including zinc and pantothenic acid contribute to cognitive function and mental performance.

The wider blend includes spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, ginger, acerola, reishi and shiitake, alongside CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, choline and inositol. There’s also 2.5g of fibre per serving, plus five bacterial strains including Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Bifidobacterium lactis HN019.

What does AG1 taste like?

AG1 tastes light and fresh, with a gentle sweetness and subtle notes of pineapple and vanilla. There’s no added sugar or artificial flavouring, so the finish stays clean rather than overly sweet.

How do I prepare AG1 and when should I drink it?

Mix one scoop or travel pack of AG1 with 250 to 300ml of cold water, then shake or stir until smooth. Ideally, you should take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, but the bigger priority is consistency. Build it into the part of your day you’re most likely to stick to.

Are AG1 supplements suitable for my diet?

AG1 fits comfortably into vegan, vegetarian, paleo, keto and low-carb diets. The formula contains no dairy, gluten, lactose, egg, peanuts or animal byproducts, and skips artificial sweeteners too. It’s also independently screened by Informed Choice and the Cologne List for substances banned in sport. Due to this, AG1 can work alongside intermittent fasting or time-restricted eating, depending on how strictly you define your fasting window.
