FODZYME

Scientifically validated solutions that make food feel simpler.

Kiwi Biosciences is a human-centered biotech company behind FODZYME®, creating elegant scientific approaches for those exploring low-FODMAP living.

Co-founder Anjie Liu, inspired by her own experiences with the low-FODMAP diet, teamed up with David Hachuel and a group of experts to develop a different approach, focusing on FODMAPs themselves. Combining cutting-edge research with targeted enzyme technology, they developed FODZYME® to break down three common FODMAPs - fructans, galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and lactose - directly in food.

Whether you're eating out or cooking at home, FODZYME® is designed to be used with meals containing fructans, GOS or lactose, from garlic and onions to wheat, legumes and dairy. Their on-the-go kit comes in handy stick packs, perfect for tossing in your bag so you’re ready for anything. At home, FODZYME® offers the same meal-time convenience in a larger format ideal for everyday use. With FODZYME®, you can plan more of the food occasions you enjoy, in a way that fits your routine. What FODMAPs does FODZYME break down?

FODZYME targets three key FODMAPs: fructans, GOS and lactose. That covers common triggers found in foods like garlic, onion, wheat, beans, legumes and dairy.

Are there any FODMAPs FODZYME doesn't break down?

Yes. FODZYME is designed for fructans, GOS and lactose, but it doesn’t currently target polyols or excess fructose. So it won’t cover every high-FODMAP food, meaning that knowing your own triggers still matters.

How should I take FODZYME?

Sprinkle or mix FODZYME directly into your food as you start eating. It’s designed to work in contact with the meal itself, so avoid adding it during cooking or mixing it into water.

How often can you use FODZYME?

Use FODZYME with meals that contain fructans, GOS or lactose. If you’re still eating after 30 minutes, the brand recommends adding another dose. Follow the serving guidance for your chosen format.
