Kaicao was founded with a clear purpose to make [healthy chocolate](/content/collections/healthy-chocolate/index.html) using only cacao and dates. As part of the bean-to-bar movement, Kaicao is one of the few brands in the world that sweetens all its products with dates, a natural source of iron, [fibre](/content/collections/fibre/index.html) and antioxidants.

The team works closely with single-origin farms, using ethically traded fine aroma cacao beans that make up just 5% of the world’s supply. Each product is made by hand at their in-house cacao lab.
