Nanit should be placed about 6 feet from your baby. Position the camera on the long side of the crib, directly above where your baby sleeps, to get the best view and most accurate data. Mount the camera at a height of 6 feet above the crib to ensure a clear, unobstructed view. Make sure the crib is free of obstacles that might block the camera’s view and keep uncovered cords at least 3 feet away from your baby. For added safety, you can use Nanit's floor stand or wall mount to keep the monitor safely out of your baby's reach.
