Switch 2 - Emerald brings together all of Loop’s best hearing protection features into one versatile, manual earplug. With three distinct modes—Quiet, Experience, and Engage—it gives full control over volume in any environment. Quiet Mode delivers the highest reduction at 26 dB (SNR) for calmer commutes or downtime. Experience Mode lowers sound by 23 dB while preserving crisp detail, making it ideal for concerts or live events. Engage Mode reduces volume by 20 dB while keeping speech clear, perfect for social or collaborative settings.

The smooth-turn mechanical dial allows seamless switching between modes without the need for batteries or electronics. Each pair comes with four interchangeable silicone ear tip sizes to ensure a secure seal and long-lasting comfort. A slimmer earplug body improves in-ear comfort, while the stylish finish comes in four colours with two texture options.

Suggested use

Inserting your ear tips is simple. Here’s how to do it in three easy steps:

1. Hold the ring of the earplug between your thumb and index finger, and gently insert the ear tip into your ear.
2. Once it seals the ear canal, give it a small twist towards the back until it sits snugly at the base of your ear.
3. Adjust until the ring feels comfortable and the earplugs stay discreetly out of sight from the front.

If they feel loose or tend to fall out, go up a size. If they’re too tight or stick out, go down a size. To test the fit, move your jaw from side to side – if they’re inserted correctly, they should stay put.

Just a heads up, you might need different sizes for your left and right ear.

For me, this has been a fantastic investment. As a person who has always struggled falling asleep if the house is not completely silent, this small gadget has completely changed the game for me, allowing me to drift off with ease even with noise in the house. The emerald colour is very chic. Blocking the mode I believe would be a good improvement to the earplugs.

I genuinely love the Loop

I genuinely love the Loop Switch 2 earplugs and can clearly feel the difference they make. I commute into London using both the train and the Underground, and the constant noise used to leave me feeling quite overstimulated and drained before the day had even started. Since using these earplugs, that has noticeably changed.

They take the edge off the background noise without making me feel disconnected from what is going on around me. I can still hear announcements and conversations, but the overwhelming intensity of the environment is reduced.

The biggest difference for me is how it affects my nervous system. My commute now feels much calmer and less stressful, and I arrive feeling far less overstimulated. For anyone who struggles with busy, noisy environments, especially daily commuters, I would absolutely recommend them.

Love these

Amazing earplugs. My first time using non-foam earplugs and I think they were worth the purchase. Switching the level of decibels reaching my ear makes a difference too so I don’t have to take them out as often when I’m partying / travelling / switching rooms.
