Vitamin D3 2200 IU provides vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol in a high-strength daily dose. Each capsule delivers 2200 IU (55 μg) of vitamin D3, an important fat-soluble nutrient with essential roles in maintaining overall body function.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth, and muscle function. It also supports the normal function of the immune system, contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, and helps maintain normal blood calcium levels. In addition, vitamin D has a role in the process of cell division.
